Still waiting on some information as to what our plan is for the service learning project. At this point we tried to contact some other options for projects but all of the ideas would have to be scheduled out at different times that would not work within the time frame for the class. So as a group we are still keeping some options open as well as waiting to find out what will work out.
Everyone is in need of different things at different times. It was fun and interesting in class to have us teach each other and help realize that the health needs are always changing depending on so many factors and many of those depend on the part of life you are experiencing at the time. I often feel like everyone around me is so capable and it really puts the pressure on to perform at times and not look like a fool when you are teaching or working with other students.
When I look I can see how understanding what life cycle they may be experiencing can influence what their needs are. A big challenge for me is I look at life with what my needs are and can have a hard time relate with others needs especially if they are in a totally different part of life than me. I can see how much of a impact it can make in my ability to help others if i can better see where they are at the what i can offer to them.
